Our kayak rentals are a great fit if you like to be close to the water and in full control of your own pace. We use sit‑on‑top Jackson kayaks that feel stable under beginners yet stay lively enough to keep experienced paddlers smiling. You can choose a single kayak for a solo day of quiet exploring or a tandem kayak when you would rather share the ride with a partner. The most popular run is Pulltite to Round Spring, about 9 miles and 4 - 6 hours of easy paddling with time built in for swim breaks and photos. If you want to stretch things a bit, the Akers Ferry to Pulltite route adds a mile and gives you 10 miles of clear, spring‑cooled current. For bigger days, our Akers Ferry to Round Spring trip covers 19 miles; you can tackle it in a single, full day on the water or split it into a relaxed two‑day outing with an overnight camp along the river. Paddlers looking for a true multi‑day experience can sign on for Cedar Grove to Round Spring, a 27‑mile, two‑day journey through some of the most scenic bends of the upper Current.
Every kayak rental includes U.S. approved life jackets and lightweight double‑blade paddles that make it easy to move the boat, even if it is your first time. Our shuttle is part of the package, so we handle the driving to and from your chosen access points and you focus on the river, not the logistics. You can book singles or tandems on Saturdays or any day Sunday through Friday, for either quick day floats or longer overnights. No matter which route or boat you choose, you get a comfortable, easy‑to‑handle kayak and a clear plan for how your day on the water will flow from start to finish.
