Our canoe rentals are built around simple, relaxed time on the water, whether you are out for a short float or a multi-day adventure. The classic stretch is Pulltite to Round Spring, about 9 miles and 4 - 6 unrushed hours of paddling, gravel-bar picnics, and clear, spring-fed water. If you would like a little more river under your hull, we also offer a 10‑mile route from Akers Ferry to Pulltite that fits nicely into a half day, and a 19‑mile option from Akers Ferry to Round Spring. That longer run can be done as a full, active one‑day trip or enjoyed at an easier pace over two days with a night of riverside camping. For experienced paddlers wanting to really settle into the rhythm of the Current, our two‑day Cedar Grove to Round Spring route covers 27 scenic miles with plenty of springs, bluffs, and gravel bars along the way.
Every canoe rental includes the practical pieces you would rather not haul from home: U.S. Coast Guard - approved life jackets or seat cushions and sturdy paddles sized for river use. Our shuttle service is built into your trip, so we handle getting you, your canoe, and your gear to the put‑in and back from the take‑out. You start your day at our base, and we take care of the driving. You can book canoes by the day or string several days together. Choose a one‑day rental for Saturday or for any Sunday - Friday, pick a two‑day package to cover a full weekend or midweek escape, or keep adding extra days at a simple per‑day rate when you want more time on the river. However long you stay, our canoes are stable, comfortable for two paddlers, and ready for you to share the journey with a friend.
